Fox News And MSNBC Apologize For Airing F Bombs During Casey Anthony Trial Broadcast

As we learned last week, those tape delays are pret-ty important.
During the prosecution's rebuttal in the Casey Anthony murder trial yesterday, a jailhouse recording of Casey on the phone with her mother was played, and it included five "f-bombs."
Since the trial was being broadcast live without a tape delay, the profane words aired on both [...]

Consider us very unsurprised, but very proud! We know exactly what the mighty force of Glee can accomplish! We're just sorry we weren't there in London to see it for ourselves!

This weekend marked the end of the wildly successful Glee Live! tour as the cast took their final bow (and final smooch!) in Dublin. The weekend before, the Gleeks were setting the O2 arena on FIRE with seven sold-out shows and their performances paid off with an unique award. Over the course of their four opening shows Saturday June 25th and Sunday 26th, the Glee kids actually managed to break the venue's record of the number of people to see a show at The O2 over a weekend!

According to O2 officials, the cast performed to more than 66,000 'Gleeks' over the two days. Their triumph was much to the delight of the bosses of O2, so they were present with a special commemorative award last Thursday evening by Sally Davies, The O2 Events Director. Of the cast and show, she said:

“We couldn’t let this record go un-rewarded so we were delighted to be able to present the cast with the special award. Glee Live! has been one of the most successful acts ever to play The O2. To say the show is ‘feel good’ just doesn’t come close. The feedback we’ve been getting on The O2 Facebook and Twitter pages has been incredible. It looks like most of the 66,000 Gleeks had the time of their lives. What we now want to know is when is Glee Live! coming back?!”

Us too! Of course, we'll have the movie to fill the void for a little while and then the new season right after that. Still, there's nothing like seeing these kids live!

Until next year then!!!

Review: Fender Standard Telecaster

The lyrics of a Tom T Hall song go, "Joe don't let the music kill ya, it's thing that's supposed to fill ya, it's a thing that's supposed to make ya happy..." Every parent, every music teacher & every music student, should have those words framed and placed in a position where each can be constantly reminded of the principle and truth they represent.

Les Paul History History Of The Legendary Guitarist

Let's face it, pop music played on the radio is getting trashier and trashier, and the lyrics lazier and lazier. Popular music played on the radio is easy to find in your local Virgin Mega store. You can also generally find some old classics, albeit mostly greatest hits compilations, in these large high street chains. But how do you find out about alternatives to the mass produced pop? There is, of course, still good music around, it's just a question of knowing how to find out about these artists in the first place...
